Aluminum electrolytic capacitors respond to AEC-Q200 standards

The American Automotive Electronics Council is an industry group advocated and established by major American automakers and electronic component manufacturers. It is currently composed of representatives of various electrical appliances and parts manufacturing companies. This group is responsible for the standardization of reliability tests such as electronic components and certification benchmark tests.

AEC-Q200 is a reliability test standard for qualification of passive components, and specifies the test items and number of tests for each component. It also includes the reliability test rules and standards of NCC's main product "aluminum electrolytic capacitor". In accordance with the test requirements of customers such as automotive customers, NCC will submit test results based on AEC-Q200 of aluminum electrolytic capacitors as required.

Electronic component manufacturers cannot make independent judgments on whether they meet the "AEC-Q200 certification". The parts that are subject to the test are judged by criteria such as "Compliant", "Applicable", and "Available". On the customer side, based on the "reliability test plan", it is necessary to carry out evaluation tests for each component that is the subject of the test.
